Accelerated Training Program
ACRO DANCE TECHNIQUE CLASSES

ELITE TECHNICAL TRAINING CLASSES FOR EXPERIENCED ACRO DANCERS, GYMNASTS, CHEERLEADERS, FIGURE SKATERS AND OTHER MOVEMENT ARTISTS WANTING TO AMPLIFY THEIR CURRENT ATHLETIC TRAINING PROGRAMS AND TAKE THEIR GOALS TO THE NEXT LEVEL

[AGE 6-17]

Must have Acro Dance, Gymnastics or related experience. Velocity level evaluation and 

coaches referral is required to participate in the Accelerated Training Program. 

 

Recommended for young athletes who excel in Acrobatics and are interested in

accelerating their training to the next level.

Super Kids 

Acrobatic Arts Level 2-4 (Age 6-9)

— Tuesday’s 5:30pm (1.5hr)

— Thursday’s 6:30pm (1.5hr)

— Saturday’s 10:45am (1.5hr)

Pre​ Junior 

Acrobatic Arts Level 3-5 (Age 9-11)

— Monday’s 4:45pm (1.5hr)

— Wednesday’s 6:30pm (2hr)

     Bonus: 30min Dance Fusion / Performance Opportunities

Junior 

Acrobatic Arts Level 4-5 (Age 10+)

— Sunday’s 1:00pm (1.5hr)

— Friday’s 4:30pm (1.5hr)

Intermediate 

Acrobatic Arts Level 6-7 (Age 8+)

— Sunday’s 1:00pm (L6)

— Wednesday’s 4:30pm (L6-7)

— Friday’s 4:30pm (L6)

Acrobatic Arts Level 8 - Pre Pro 3 (Age 10+)

INT/ADV Acrobatic Arts Level 7-Pre Pro 3

 

Athletes must take minimum 1 additional Acro technique class through Velocity or their home studio to participate in the Specialty Training classes.

Tumble & Flow

Exciting ways to take your tumble mastery to the next level with drills, progressions, and variations of walkovers, handsprings, aerials, and more!

— Sunday’s 3:30pm (1hr) Followed by Balance & Bend

— Friday’s 6:00pm (1hr) Followed by Acro Flex

Balance & Bend

Standing balance and inversion coaching to optimize your strength and coordination on the floor, blocks, canes, and other apparatuses. Create beautiful shapes and connect variations on our feet, hands, forearms, shoulders, chest, and head.

— Sunday’s 4:30pm (1hr)

​

Acro Flex

Enhance your range of motion with complimentary flexibility and strength training. Create beautiful shapes with your body using safe effective methods.

— Friday’s 7:00pm (1hr)

INT/ADV Specialty Acro classes are on Sunday's & Friday's.

Two complementing 1-hr classes are always scheduled back to back; we encourage athletes participating to attend both to fully benefit from the program designed by the coach.
